ARC Research Hub for Value-Added Processing of Carbon Waste (VAPUCW)
ARC Research Hub for Value-Added Processing of Carbon Waste, abbreviated as VAPUCW, is a five-year, nationwide research centre co-funded by Australian Research Council (ARC) and a variety of industry partners from Australia and overseas. It consists of three Go8 and two tier-1 technological universities located across Australia.
The three key features of the Hub are as follows:
A nationwide, large initiative to advance the development of circular economy business model for Australian chemical industry;
A cross-disciplinary research platform to promote the excellence and innovation for advanced waste upcycling and management technologies; and
A cross-border collaboration Hub to foster the training of next-generation engineers and scientists for green design and manufacturing advancement.
